Glimpses of Spirit

Stories to inspire and help you glimpse your own spirit.
There is a wonderful story a friend told me years ago. In the beginning of everything, there was an inky blackness. Within that blackness was a beautiful mirror that spanned the entire sky. After some unknown time as light dawned and life began, the mirror shattered into a million, trillion pieces. Each and every one of us was given a tiny but sacred piece of that sacred mirror. Your shard is as beautiful and unique as you are and it offers you an opportunity to glimpse the Divine.

Throughout our lives, using our mirror, we are offered glimpses of Spirit, glimpses of God, glimpses of love, glimpses of the peace that passes understanding. We experience moments of expansiveness and pure contentment in nature. We move thru illness, failure and loss and the mirror offers us a reflection to witness the blessings within those tough times. We connect to others, find our flow or are surprised by unexpected mystical moments. There are as many ways to glimpse spirit, as there are pieces of that sacred mirror. How amazing is that?

This is a space to share those glimpses. Hearing about someone else’s glimpse inspires us, makes us feel less alone and ultimately expands our vision.

It is time to come together and hold our shards of that sacred mirror together. The larger our shared mirror, the more we will see. The more we see, the more we understand and remember.

Let us learn and be inspired from one another.
